If you haven’t been to Wedowee Marine South since they’ve opened their restaurant, you need to drop in for lunch or dinner sometime! We’ve stopped by a few times when we were out in the boat and the food was quite good! They offer wings, burgers, pizza, BBQ sandwiches, chicken salad, house salad, and several other items on their menu. They hope to have beer and wine available soon. Stop in sometime and grab a bite to eat and help support their business!
The Kiwanis Club of Wedowee will be selling Smoked Boston Butts this year for the weekend before the 4th of July. You may have heard of SIFAT (Servants in Faith and Techonology) through Worship on the Water (WOW). We’ve promoted “WOW” in our newsletter as well as on FaceBook as a great worship service to attend by boat during the summer. If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about SIFAT or see their facility located in Lineville then make plans to attend their expo on June 23rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (CDT). You can visit SIFAT for a tour and learn more about what happens on their campus. Plans are being made for hayrides, crafts, tours and lunch. The SIFAT Village Store will also be open. Contact strykera@sifat.org for details. For more information on SIFAT, visit their website at www.sifat.org.
