Happy Valentine’s Day! Hopefully you’re lucky and get to spend it with your sweetheart!
Many of you are receiving our newsletter for the first time today, after visiting our table at the boat show! We send out our newsletter twice a month, every other Thursday. We really appreciate all your support and hope we can be your go to source for what’s going on around Wedowee and with the lake. Right now, things are pretty quiet, so there isn’t much to report here, but as things pick up, we’ll do our best to keep you updated on news, events, and what’s going on with the lake. Again, we really appreciate all your support and look forward to seeing you on the lake!
Just A Few Reminders!
Need some last minute flowers or a Valentine’s Day Gift, stop by Flowers by Elaine, located on Main Street in downtown Wedowee next to Miss Amber’s Coffee Shop! Also, Lynnie Bo’s is having a Valentine Dinner tonight, if you have last minute change of plans!
Early Spring!
Well, I hear the ground hog didn’t see his shadow, so we should be on our way to an early spring! I was really enjoying the warm weather but not liking this rain so much, and we are expecting even more beginning tomorrow, all the way through next Friday! Maybe that’s what February weather is all about!
Water Level!
Just heads upon the lake levels here at Lake Wedowee. It is currently at standard winter level, holding steady. After the rain we are expecting next week, I wonder if they’ll have to open the flood gates again.
