Wow, the lake is looking great! We are only 2″ below full pool at the time I’m writing this newsletter (Thursday 5/03/2018)! The trees, flowers, and lake are all ready for summer as are we! We are looking forward to warm days and good times this summer and we hope to see everyone out on the lake soon!

The Lake Wedowee Property Owners’ Association will be holding a community fireworks show on Saturday, June 30th, at Flat Rock State Park on the south end of Lake Wedowee! This will be a professional show and should be a beautiful patriotic display! We are helping find folks who are willing to donate to help with the cost of the show. If you are interested in being a “sponsor”, there are three levels of sponsorship ranging from $250 to $750 which comes with t-shirts and recognition at certain levels, this can be a business or individual. We would also appreciate donations of any amount from individuals! Help us make this a wonderful annual event! Nothing better than taking your family out by boat to see gorgeous fireworks over the lake! Please call us for more information regarding making a donation at (256) 357-2237.
